From there, the journey moves to Nagarkot, a peaceful hill station famed for panoramic sunrise views over the Himalayas. The experience continues with a hike to Changu Narayan, followed by visits to the ancient cities of Bhaktapur and Patan, before heading to Pokhara. In Pokhara, visitors enjoy lakeside charm and a scenic drive to Sarangkot Hill Station, where the sunrise over the Annapurna Range provides a stunning finale. This tour offers a relaxed yet enriching way to experience Nepal’s cultural depth and natural beauty in just a few days.

Best Time for Kathmandu and Pokhara Sunrise Tour
The best time to undertake the Kathmandu and Pokhara Sunrise Tour is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. During these months, the skies are usually clear, offering the best chances of seeing the sunrise over the Himalayan ranges from both Nagarkot and Sarangkot. Temperatures are mild and pleasant, making walking tours and hikes around cultural sites more enjoyable. Spring also brings blooming flowers, while autumn comes alive with major Nepali festivals, adding vibrant cultural color to your journey.

While winter (December to February) is also a good time for sunrise views—especially due to low humidity—it can be quite chilly in the mornings, especially at hill stations like Nagarkot and Sarangkot. Summer and the monsoon season (June to August) are less favorable due to cloud cover and rain, which can obstruct sunrise views and make walking trails slippery. Regardless of the season, Hidden Path Treks & Expeditions ensures each journey is well-prepared, with flexible itineraries and local insight to maximize your experience.
