Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a friendly representative from Hidden Path Treks & Expeditions will meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. After settling in, take some time to relax and acclimatize to the bustling capital city. If your schedule permits, you can explore the lively Thamel district, known for its colorful shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the evening, you will receive a briefing about the exciting journey ahead and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast,Full-day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley’s cultural and historical landmarks. Start with a visit to Swayambhunath, famously known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill offering panoramic views of the city. Next, visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal, situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, an important spiritual hub for Buddhists around the world. Finally, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to ancient palaces and temples that showcase Nepal’s rich heritage. Return to your hotel for an evening of rest or further exploration.

Day 3 : Drive or Fly from Kathmandu to Chitwan

After breakfast, depart for Chitwan National Park, either by a scenic 5–6 hour drive through the Terai plains or a quick 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur Airport. Upon arrival, transfer to your jungle lodge or resort near the park entrance. Take time to settle in and enjoy the natural surroundings. In the afternoon, you may take a guided nature walk or relax by the lodge. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance showcasing the vibrant local heritage.

Day 4 : Chitwan National Park Safari

Today, experience an adventurous day in Chitwan National Park. Begin with an early morning jungle safari by jeep or elephant-back to spot wildlife including the famous one-horned rhinoceros, deer, wild boar, and if lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. Afterward, enjoy a canoe ride on the Rapti River to see crocodiles and a rich variety of birds. Visit the elephant breeding center and learn about conservation efforts. Day 5 : Drive or Fly from Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast, depart Chitwan to return to Kathmandu either by road or by flight. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and spend your last afternoon enjoying the city’s charm. Day 6 : Departure
