Best Time for Bhutan Tour
The best time to visit Bhutan largely depends on what kind of experience you seek, but generally, the most favorable seasons are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During spring, Bhutan bursts into color with blooming rhododendrons and lush greenery, while the weather remains pleasantly warm and clear. It’s also a perfect time to witness Bhutanese festivals and cultural events that showcase vibrant traditional dances and rituals.

Autumn offers crisp air, clear skies, and excellent trekking conditions, making it ideal for sightseeing and photography. The views of the Himalayan peaks from places like Dochula Pass and Paro are especially spectacular during this time. Although winter (December to February) can be cold, it’s a quieter period to explore, while summer (June to August) sees monsoon rains, which might disrupt travel plans but also brings lush, vibrant landscapes. At Hidden Path Treks & Expeditions, we tailor your Bhutan tour to ensure you experience the best weather and local events, maximizing your enjoyment and comfort.
