Your adventure begins early in the morning as a representative from Hidden Path Treks & Expeditions picks you up from your hotel in Kathmandu. After a scenic one-hour drive through the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley, we arrive at the starting point of our hike — the historic Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest Hindu temples in Nepal. From Changu Narayan, we begin our hike towards Nagarkot. The trail gently winds uphill through small villages, terraced farmlands, and lush forests.
